Job Title: Senior IT Cloud Manager Location: OH - Columbus What you'll do: The Senior IT Cloud Manager will manage a group of cloud engineers and their workload on projects or non-project work items. Responsible for mentorship, evaluation, conflict resolution and recognition of the staff to maintain highly motivated and engaged employees. He will deliver strategy and innovation, project delivery, and operational tasks. What we are looking for: Manage cloud team, both Azure and AWS environments. Manage vendors and own services end to end Develop roadmaps for each service with emphasis on security, finops, and operational efficiencies Work on a new L2 strategy in partnership with infrastructure and operations Create a infrastructure storage team with focus in Azure cloud Establish practices to enhance security compliance, FinOps opportunities, Segregation of duties, server build and decommission process, and other SOP and Audit items. Act as a liaison between infrastructure and application teams. Provide assistance to the Engineers with delivery, tech support, troubleshooting of Azure and AWS operating systems and application software, including, but not limited to, MS Windows, Azure and AWS services, Linux environments. Develop a six and twelve month roadmap for cloud activities. Work with teams to streamline project delivery pipelines, leveraging infrastructure as code and Azure DevOps. Create and modify SOPs, conduct monthly reviews on audit items and evidence to ensure accuracy. Create and maintain the Cloud Engineering Standards working with Enterprise Architecture. Responsible for server software installation and maintaining server standards. Accountable for golden OS server build template and images for AWS and Azure. Ensures documentation development and maintenance Develop risk-based mitigation strategies for delivery Participate with DR and BCD activities Producing, publishing, and distributing operational reports pertaining to the status of products and vulnerabilities Ensure meeting notes are kept and progress is well documented Acting as a liaison with various departments, management, and staff to coordinate remediation efforts and mitigate risk Ability to review, analyze, and evaluate availability and vulnerability management reports Ability to collaborate extensively with engineering teams to help them understand their vulnerabilities and assist them to develop remediation and mitigation strategies. Implement security improvements by assessing current situation, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements. Qualifications Bachelors in Computer Science, mathematics, or related field Excellent written and verbal communication; must be able to communicate across business line and skill level Strong understanding of cloud, server, middleware, and network services, and vulnerabilities. Extensive knowledge of Cloud operations for container management, vulnerability and image deployments Knowledge of migration to the cloud Extensive knowledge working with L1 and L2 support managing a 24x7 environment Experience with executive level reporting Knowledge of applications, interfaces with users externally and internally. Ability to successfully manage a group of Cloud Engineers and stakeholders Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Strong customer service and excellent communication skills along with the ability to mentor others in a team environment Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve problems Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with short timelines Customer-centric and Service minded.
