Genesis10 is seeking a Salesforce Developer for a 4-month onsite contract to hire position with a leading client in Columbus, OH. This role can be located in Columbus, OH or Minneapolis. MN. Compensation: $45-55 per hour W2. Responsibilities: This position is for someone who loves code and loves to work in a collaborative environment and in an agile scrum team context. Contributes development and configuration skills to enterprise-wide Salesforce implementation Builds with scale in mind Stays up to date with the latest and greatest on the Salesforce platform Consults with scrum teammates to ensure technical integrity and best practices are incorporated in design solutions Is not afraid to say no to stakeholders who want to implement their own design Welcomes feedback on ideas, designs, approaches and other proposals Knows, and follows Salesforce programmatic patterns and platform best practices Conducts code reviews for teammates Enjoys exploring various problem-solving possibilities, proofs of concepts, and frameworks Communicates issues and implications early and effectively Executes testing on personal and team development efforts in coordination with QA lead Resolves production issues when applicable Facilitates discussions around changing practices to reflect new knowledge or circumstances Document complex schema and share architectural structures with others in a digestible way Thrives in a highly collaborative environment and in an agile scrum team context Requirements: Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 3 years technical and business work experience developing applications utilizing Salesforce.com platform Salesforce toolkit and Force.com platform technologies: custom objects, controllers & triggers and workflows, Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOAP/REST based web services, and legacy Visualforce. Minimum of 2 years leading Salesforce-based development activities including design Preferred Qualifications: Experience integrating Sales and Service Cloud with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Experience with Salesforce applications utilizing API and event-driven technologies (e.g., Kafka or Google Pub/Sub) in a production environment Experience developing and deploying Apex classes as REST based web services Previously demonstrated project leadership on small to mid-size projects involving the Salesforce platform.
