Western Alliance Bank Azure Engineer in Grove City, Ohio

Job Title: Azure Engineer Location: OH - Columbus What you'll do: The Azure Engineer will provide the expertise on all things Azure. With at least 5 years of experience that focuses on least access principles, this role will provide support, implementation, and design services for the Azure environment across the enterprise. This will include directory and identity management solutions following "least privilege" practices. This role will be resolving, and appropriately completing assigned cases and change requests, as well as acting as an escalation for support issues. The Azure Engineer will be applying new solutions through research and collaboration within the team, as well as collaborate with other IT teams. What we are looking for: Responsibilities: Engineer enterprise-level designs for Azure, Group Policy Management, Azure AD Hybrid for incidents, changes, and access management via multi-forestdomain. Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible. Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for Azure. Serves as the first line of escalation support for domain technology issues that cannot be resolved by tier one and two support. Lead and contribute to multiple projects to ensure deadlines are met Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all Domain controllers, Active Directory resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying Azure Health Improve existing processes for Conditional Access Policies. Improve Compliance Scorecard in Azure. Participate in revolving On-Call escalated business critical outages and Disaster Recovery Process Document, Create and mentor on all process Qualifications: B.S. degree or equivalent experience 5+ years in IT Systems Engineering/Active Directory 3+ years in Azure AD Knowledge with Zero Trust Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Group Policy Management. Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (Hybrid), Quest Active Roles Server (ARS) are preferable. Must have deep and thorough understanding of Active Directory monitoring best practices and Azure. Extensive experience with infrastructure and server preferably VMware and/or Microsoft technologies Develops, documents, and enforces the standards, Advance Active Directory security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of the Windows Systems, Active Directory, and related systems as well as Azure Knowledge of GPO Admin Professional Skills/Experience: Minimum 7 years overall IT experience with 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies. Desired experience working in a fast-paced Industrial environment with a career track record of engineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining business critical systems in the area of technical expertise including hands on solution development and implementation experience. Team Player with a "can do" attitude with proven leadership, communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills. The role requires significant interaction with many different teams across a global company. Self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent judgment skills, one who can lead as well as follow. Able to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner. Project Management knowledge and understanding of Scrum and Agile workflows.
