JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide repair of company's complete line of industrial process heating and cooling systems.
Provide preventive maintenance advice to others working on company's products
Troubleshoot units that are not working: In person and over the phone by working with owner"s maintenance teams and independent service companies.
Complete record of customer contact in company's service software program
Suggest parts required for repair of equipment.
Process orders including keeping & updating records in system
Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer need and expectations
Up to 20% nationwide travel to customers with possible limited international travel to Canada, Mexico &
Latin America
- Performs related work as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years experience specific to the commercial HVAC or Refrigeration industry, will also look at someone who is willing to learn and get into this industry!
EPA Universal certification or willingness to become certified
Knowledge of systems using R410A, R407C, R134A, R454B and R513A refrigerant
Knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the trade.
Knowledge of the operating principles and characteristics of the various types of refrigeration and
mechanical systems.
Understanding and troubleshooting knowledge of the following: Chillers, Cooling Towers, Temperature control units, Variable Frequency Drives
Knowledge of basic electricity and control systems.
Ability to apply the theory, technique, and principles of the HVAC mechanic's trade.
Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, or stand, lift, and move heavy objects.
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong communication skills both verbal & via email
Knowledge of, and experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EPA Certified would be a plus but not required.
Trade school education or higher preferred
Valid Passport desired but not required
