Aa an Inventory Integrity Analyst Intern, you will support a business function and assist in projects. You will build skills and knowledge in your assigned functional area and in the company overall. Assignments will vary within each department and are determined based on need. Work assignments commonly incorporate some entry level work with guidance given for first-time experiences. Future work assignments (for returning Interns) increase in responsibility, complexity, and challenge. The rate at which a student can assume additional responsibilities is determined by his or her level of maturity, interest, initiative, and academic background.

What you will do:

  • Monitor the effectiveness of the corrective action implemented to ensure correct inventory usage and related transactions.

  • Basic computer skills with decent Microsoft Excel familiarity

  • Willingness to learn to drive various forklifts, and comfortable with heights

  • Able and willing to do the physical labor involved with counting parts in the warehouse, sometimes dirty and heavy.

  • Motivated, able to think critically, and reliable.

  • Audit data and verify accuracy of PRMS system records

  • Communicate discrepancies identified to supervisor

  • Investigate and analyze repetitive inventory inaccuracies to identify root cause of discrepancies. Investigation will include discussion with representatives in functional areas that may impact accuracy of data to determine cause

  • Participate in meetings with appropriate parties to discuss initiatives required to correct discrepancies and introduce corrective action identified to resolve discrepancies.

  • Perform assigned tasks with supervisor/ team support and gain insight into functional areas, management, and leadership, through exposure to a variety of assignments.

  • Other misc. projects, initiatives, and ad hoc reports and requests.

What you will need:

The incumbent must be a strong communicator, with diverse groups of people throughout HYMH’s global operations, under stressful conditions, and must have good organizational skills with regard to work priorities and project-management requirements.

Skills, Experience & Abilities:

  • Rising or Graduating High School Senior or

  • Currently enrolled student in a Community College or University or

  • Currently enrolled in a Technical School

  • Previous internship or Co-op experience is a plus

  • Sets high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed.
