Health Professional

This is a temporary position that will fill in during the absence of the Director of the Student Health Center at the Pitt Greensburg campus. The Temporary Health Center Nurse will be responsible for tasks related to the medical treatment of students within the Pitt Greensburg Student Health Center. Tasks include performing general nursing duties, including assessments and treatments, providing emergency aid to students, performing health evaluations, assisting in disease prevention measures, and assisting in the promotion of health education. Assistance in maintaining clinical records may be necessary.

Health Center nurses are often the first chance students have at receiving medical attention.

This is an 8-month assignment following the academic Spring (January -- April) and Fall (September -- December) semesters. The assignment period does not include May through August.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing required and 3-5 years experience as a staff nurse. Current RN license required.
