Work Arrangement:

Hybrid/Common Days+ : Work 2-3 days a week in a Lincoln office with a designated workspace.

General Purpose of Job

This position will perform and deliver on routine and progressively more non-routine assignments for their assigned area(s) of responsibility independently in accordance with established procedures/guidelines. They will prepare, record, verify, analyze and report on increasingly complex account transactions for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. In addition, they will share general accounts receivable knowledge with their team to build the technical capabilities of their assigned area.

What you'll be doing

• Communicates effectively with applicable internal/ external stakeholders with regards to increasingly complex account discrepancies.

• Communicates to management on recognized trends, issues and/or concerns.

• Escalates account issues to appropriate management.

• Identifies and researches increasingly complex discrepancies or out of balance situations amongst assigned accounts.

• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying, posting and correcting assigned account transactions.

• Make standard calculations to accurately compile and report requested account statistics and trends.

• Makes routine and progressively more non-routine decisions independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

• May prepare and deliver customer billing and respond to resulting queries.

• Meets or exceeds departmental quality and service standards.

• Performs a diverse range of tasks/transactions related to common programs and services by directly applying expanded knowledge obtained from the role in increasingly more complex situations.

• Provides responses and a diverse range of accounts information to team members less routine questions without supervision.

• Resolves increasingly complex discrepancies by investigating documentation and determining applicable adjustments.

• Reviews and processes routine and progressively more non-routine and increasingly complex invoices for payment on a timely basis according to corporate and/or departmental policies and procedures.

• Reviews information for completeness and gathers pertinent information from others as needed.

• Reviews, researches and resolves escalated account issues.

• Shares a diverse range of knowledge and information and/or enables less experienced team members to perform their assignments.

• Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.

• Tracks and coordinates the preparation of account documents.

• Validates account statuses by reconciling increasingly complex statements, accounts and/or transactions for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

• Works independently delivering on routine but progressively more non-routine work, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately.

• Works overtime as needed.

What we’re looking for

• High School diploma or GED or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience. – Minimum Required

• Demonstrates strong data entry skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• 3 - 5+ Years Accounts Payable and Receivables and/or general accounting experience aligned with the responsibilities for this position (Required )

• 0 - 1+ Years For candidates with an Associate's Degree or above, 0-1 year of Accounts Payable and Receivables and/or general accounting experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required )

Pay Range: $25.69 - $32.45

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
