WestRock Company Regional Continuous Improvement Manager in Greenford, United Kingdom

The opportunity: This role will be responsible for the region, supporting and deliver continuous improvement initiatives. It will implement strategic changes, embedding and sustaining Lean Six Sigma & Operational Excellence culture.

How you will impact WestRock:

  • Coaching, supporting, and training resources (white, yellow, and green belts)

  • Monitoring project performance ensuring projects are deliver on time, within scope and have an impact on P&L

  • Deliver key projects for the region, on time and in a sustained manner

  • Collaborate with external and internal key stakeholders to make sustainable improvements

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Support the development of project pipeline with regional leadership in line with business objectives, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Drive Lean Six Sigma concepts implementation, changing CI culture in the region

  • Liaise and share with other regional CI leads best practices and initiatives

  • Liaise with regional leadership on project priorities and assign projects to Operational Excellence Lead

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Good understanding of internal controls

  • Good understanding of accounting systems and practices

  • Proven ability to produce good quality work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Superior attention to detail

  • Confident user of Microsoft Office packages

  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, IF functions, Pivot Tables etc.)

  • Numerical and verbal reasoning skills at Junior Management norm

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively and promptly across all business areas.

  • Determination to overcome obstacles.

  • Ability to influence and inspire others and lead by example.

  • Be self-motivated and standards driven.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines.

  • Be team-focused by harnessing collaboration and co-operation of others.

  • Good problem-solving skills
