Expand your skill set and help people move better through assisted stretching! StretchLab is hiring Flexologists (Stretch Therapists) for our Marin County, CA studios (Novato and Greenbrae). Must have a current certification or degree in fitness, bodywork or physio; local candidates only. The role of a Flexologist (Stretch Therapist) is to deliver the best one-on-one assisted stretch experience possible. You’ll help clients gain flexibility and more freedom to move better at work, at the gym and in life. We provide 60+ hours of PAID TRAINING to add to your skill set. Our Flexologist Training Program is the first and only nationally accredited stretch program and certification. Background & Qualifications * Required certification in fitness or bodywork: Massage, Personal Training, Physical Therapy/PT Asst, Yoga, Dance OR degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Athletic Training or related field. * Passion for health and wellness through movement is crucial * Previous experience working with hands on with clients preferred * Fantastic communication skills, must love connecting with people * Positive attitude and energy; professional and reliable Comp & Benefits * Competitive hourly rate $28-$35+ (with gratuities) * Part-time role, flexible schedule (15-25 hours/week) * Fully Paid Training and Certification (60+ hours) * CEUs for NASM, AFAA and other agencies * Free membership; generous retail discount * You provide a great stretch, we provide the clients * Great complement to other fitness gigs * Fantastic and supportive studio culture * 401K after one year Roles & Responsibilities * Learn and perform 25 and 50-minute 1:1 stretch sessions * Engage and support clients across all ages, sizes and fitness levels * Set goals with clients; encourage and educate * Learn Club Ready system; manage client progress through notes * Keep current on trainings, new techniques and stretch education * Assist with pop-ups/demos, community events and promotions We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
