Robert Half is offering a permanent position for a skilled Staff Accountant to join their dynamic, rapidly-growing team. In this role, the Staff Accountant is in charge of preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliatio. and payroll. Based in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area, this role is a career-building, multi-faceted opportunity to work for a company that recognizes and rewards hard work.
What you get to do every single day
Prepare payroll
Regularly maintain and reconcile journal entries
Assemble analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management reporting
Compose journal entries and conduct the month end close with minimal supervision
Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
Intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll
Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable
In-depth experience with reconciling month end balance sheet accounts

Requirements
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
Expertise in Payroll Taxes
Solid understanding of Full Cycle Payroll
Bookkeeping experience preferred
Sales Tax Returns experience
Recent and relevant accounting experience
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
