About the Job As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at BILT, you will be at the forefront of our sales and revenue generation efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and nurture prospective clients, driving them through the early stages of the sales funnel. With your exceptional communication skills and keen understanding of the B2B SaaS landscape, you will be instrumental in building strong relationships with potential customers and creating a solid pipeline for our sales team. An ideal candidate will be someone who has experience in with SaaS B2B/B2C enterprise products for small, medium, and large enterprises. Responsibilities Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify potential customers within the target market, leveraging various sources like social media, industry events, online forums, and marketing campaigns. Qualification: Conduct initial outreach to prospective clients through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to determine their needs, pain points, and suitability for our solutions. Sales Funnel Management: Effectively manage leads and opportunities through the CRM system (SFDC), ensuring accurate data entry, regular updates, and timely follow-ups to maintain an organized sales pipeline. Consultative Selling: Understand the unique challenges and requirements of potential clients, their use cases, and articulate the value proposition of BILT to address their specific needs effectively. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our offerings, and confidently present the benefits of our solutions to potential clients. Collaborative Approach: Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align strategies, share insights, and optimize the lead generation and nurturing processes. Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities, providing valuable feedback to the product and marketing teams for continuous improvement. Metrics and Reporting: Regularly track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technical Sales, or a related field(s). Proven experience in a B2B sales or business development role, preferably within the SaaS industry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey complex ideas. Strong research and lead generation capabilities, with a keen eye for identifying potential clients. Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives. Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly grasp and communicate technical concepts. A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus. Familiarity with common office software suites (Google Workspace, MS Office, iWork) and online meeting software (Zoom, MS Teams, Webex) Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, tablets, phones, photocopiers, email, and various communication programs. This is not a remote position.
