Mel Trotter Ministry Workforce Development Case Manager in Grand Rapids, Michigan

This position is the daily point of contact for the case manager's assigned case load of guests. Responsibilities include the assessing the needs and barriers that brought the guest into shelter and assisting guests on an individual basis in their achievement of daily, weekly, and life goals, which are established through a written action plan. This position provides spiritual support, guidance, and encouragement for all guests.

 

This case management role is specifically focused on services provided for our guests who are in our workforce development track. This role includes providing one-on-one case management to men who reside in our main building and those who reside in our transitional homes. The WFD Case Manager travels to the homes to meet with the guests there, and also meets with guests onsite at our main building. A valid driver's license is required.
