About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of work

Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. This position includes working collaboratively with our 5 core physicians and another RN to coordinate care for a higher level of specialty medicine involving pulmonary hypertension. You will support the physicians during their clinic days at the 4100 Lake Dr location, coordinate patient care, provide patient education regarding procedures and disease management. Clinical work involving EPIC inbasket messages, phone triage, medication refills, infusion medication management, prior authorizations, referral review & care coordination with the physicians. A strong cardiology background is recommended. This position also allows working remotely a few days per pay period after successful completion of orientation & training.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree Nursing or Equivalent Required

  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred

  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required

  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days

  • 1 year of experience as an RN Preferred
