Description We are in search of a Customer Service Representative to become part of our machinery manufacturing team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a Customer Service Representative, your role will involve managing customer interactions, processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and handling customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Actively managing incoming phone calls from customers

• Handling and dispatching written business correspondence

• Providing timely and accurate customer service

• Supporting business growth through cross-selling and referring customers

• Utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems in managing customer interactions

• Navigating multiple computer systems and applications for efficient service delivery

• Applying problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex customer inquiries

• Collaborating effectively with internal and external partners and clients

• Going above and beyond to resolve complex customer inquiries through detailed research. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in a customer service role within the machinery manufacturing industry

• Proven ability to manage customer relations and provide excellent service

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively deal with diverse client base

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Adept at problem-solving and able to resolve customer issues in a timely manner

• Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to company objectives

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree or certification in Business Administration or related field is a plus

• Flexibility to work in shifts, over weekends, or on public holidays if required
