Interra Credit Union Associate, Application Support - APPLI001528 in Goshen, Indiana

Working Model: Hybrid

We have a balanced hybrid working model to ensure you have the flexibility you need. The successful candidate will balance their time between working in the office (minimum of two days) and working from home.

As an Associate Application Support, you will be responsible for providing business support for three or more Credit Union's applications and be the liaison between Application Support and other business departments.

Assist in various areas to include, but not limited to vendor technical liaison, expert level of application subject matter expertise, test planning and execution, complex configuration management, and the generation of advanced ad-hoc reports and scheduled reports.

Helps maintain integrity and quality of the data, and the data integrations between applications.

Maintains application configurations.

Provide day-to-day production support for assigned software applications and collaborates with business owners on feature usage and updates.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

-Works as an IT liaison, facilitating resolution between the software application and our environment. Accountable for coordinating vendors, IT, and various departments to lead solution resolution and apply enhancements. Documents user acceptance testing for upgrades, development, and version releases. Collaborates with application owners to develop actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize results while maintaining application integrity and integration with other applications.

-Monitoring of Incident / Case tracking related to product and service solutions with vendors and for internal tickets. Troubleshooting and resolving cases as assigned meeting acceptable service level. Supports process improvement, optimizing peak performance and utilization of the applications. Seeks to minimize recurrence of software and integration issues.

-Develop complex custom reports requested from various business departments utilizing application DataMart tools, report writing tools, or utilizing BI data warehouse tools. Assess need and priority while determining source of the data.

-Lead testing efforts and resolves issues before turning over testing to the business side. Ensure testing is thorough before updating into production using change control procedures. Work with application owners and support lead/manager to determine what level of communication is necessary. Prepare change communication.

-For the support team, lead application business continuity activities, disaster recovery testing, as well as preparing for and supporting monthly, quarterly and year end activities.

Attends training and maintains a basic knowledge of procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing financial institutions.

-Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, AML/CIP, Consumer Privacy, Regulation CC, Information Security, Bank Protection Act, FACT-Identity Theft, Information Technology and GLBA.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience

6 years experience in the Financial Industry working with applications which may include core, imaging, loan origination and processing, or member facing applications.

Education / Certifications / Licenses

This level of knowledge is acquired through completion of a required Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
  • Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
  • Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators.
  • Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary.
  • Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management.
  • Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
