This role requires prior experience with microcontroller and microprocessor designs, analog circuits, high-speed digital, and some RF experience. You will be involved in the entire NPI (New Product Introduction) design process, from researching new technology, developing proof-of-concepts, creating and owning complete schematics, building prototypes, testing, validating, and launching products into high-volume mass production.Job DutiesNPI Project Hardware Design: Lead and participate in NPI project hardware design, including schematic design, PCB layout, BOM release, prototype build, debugging, engineering testing, and QA & Agency support.Architectural Development: Utilize your extensive experience to help architect new electrical designs and provide consultation to other engineers and management.Testing and Validation: Lead and direct test technicians in performing testing, collecting data, and validating electrical designs.Global Collaboration: Engage in conference meetings with global teams, including project leaders and cross-functional teams, to coordinate project progress.Mentorship: Mentor junior electrical engineers, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.Documentation: Ensure thorough documentation of designs, processes, and test results to maintain clear communication and traceability.Technology Research: Stay updated with the latest advancements in technology and incorporate innovative solutions into product designs.Compliance: Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.You Must HaveBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering5 years of experience in product developmentWe ValueDesign Experience: Hands-on experience in hardware design projects, including schematic design, PCB layout, system debugging, and testing.EDA Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with one or more EDA tools such as Mentor, Cadence, or Altium.Experience with RF and IoT.
