Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate movement of materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must follow Altor Solutions' standards for Safety, Housekeeping, Quality and Production in an efficient and safe manner.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
Responsibilities
Move materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments
Inspect materials for damage or defects
Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored in designated areas
Assist with inventory control and cycle counting
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Physical Demands
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers; talk and hear. Frequently required to reach, bend, squat, stretch, and twist. Regularly required to lift and/or carry up to 15 pounds and up to 50 pounds with help. Regularly required to stand and walk during the entire shift. Must be able to work efficiently and repetitively with hands and have physical strength, stamina, and coordination to perform duties.
Work Environment
The work environment is typical of most manufacturing environments. The noise level in the work environment is usually high with ear protection required. Will work in a dusty and sometimes wet environment as well as cold/hot/humid areas based on the seasons.
