ASRC Federal Holding Company Technical Support Specialist in Remote,

ASRC Federal is seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist.

This role is 100% remote and could be based anywhere within the US. The preference would be for the new hire to live within a commutable distance to Fairfield, NJ.

Key Role:

  • Provide helpdesk support to internal employee users.

  • Answers queries using established protocols, scripts and/or procedures in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems

  • Diagnoses, identifies, isolates, and resolves first-tier problems utilizing historical database records and available information.

  • Escalates calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialists. Performs first-level problem determination and resolution. Maintains and updates records and tracking databases.

  • Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.

Requirements :

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma

  • 0-2 years of related experience

  • US Citizenship required with ability to obtain a government security clearance, if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous IT experience is preferred

  • Previous customer service experience

  • Previous technical helpdesk support a plus but not required
