Job Description:

We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our Technology team at MBPS. This role will act as a liaison among stakeholders and coordinate internal efforts to obtain resolution of incidents that have a significant impact on the internal stakeholders or the business while providing executive-level communication updates to all stakeholders throughout the entire process. In addition to managing escalation incidents, this role is expected to perform problem management, performance management of IT Partners and keeping the IT records up-to-date .

Key Responsibilities:

1. ITIL Proficiency and Incident Management:

  • Must have a strong understanding of all key ITIL disciplines and processes.

  • Drives implementation of standard execution of the High Priority Incident Management process.

  • Acts as liaison to Global Service Assurance Major Incident (GSA-MIM) Team.

2. Incident Escalation and Communication:

  • Provide strong escalation support for high severity incidents to speed up through triaging to resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders, and post-incident review.

  • Ensuring that effective communication is maintained with the Executives, Business Leadership during a high priority incident.

3. Stakeholder Engagement and Visibility:

  • Engage key stakeholders for incident and business impact clarification.

  • Facilitate regular touchpoints with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate visibility of key issues including escalation status reporting, issue status and resolution activities, and trending analysis.

4. Service Metrics and Improvement:

  • Develop service metrics with Manulife Business Units and provide means to monitor and improve service delivery output and operational excellence.

  • Maintenance, audit and reporting of IT Inventory and Contacts.

5. Project and Partner Management:

  • Drive IT Partners service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes.

  • Manage the implementation of organization-wide IT projects that will impact key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

  • 4 or more years of Progressive IT Experience with application of ITIL process framework

  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation).

  • Shift: Night Shift (9PM to 6PM Philippine Time)

  • Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:

    1. In depth knowledge and proven experience in diverse environment of Incident Management, Escalation Management, Service Management and related disciplines. With strong knowledge and experience in Application Management and Support and/or Financial Services Industries.
    1. With experience in business analysis, process improvements and automations.Strong ability to understand different technology platforms and process flows.
    1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, engage and influence others, work with a diverse internal and international customer base.
    1. Strategic thinking with a focus on risk-based prioritization and decision-making.
    1. Experience in anyof the following technical skills:

a. Systems/Applications Development or Support

b. Environment Management and Release Deployment

c. Security Risk Management Operations

d. Business Intelligence

e. Automation

f. Power Platform

  • Preferred: ITIL Intermediate Certifications, Lean or Agile Qualifications
