Job Description: CT Tech - Imaging

A CT technologist uses computed tomography or x-ray equipment to take images of a patient's body from different angles. In addition to completing the scans, they also prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and then positioning patients to capture the exact images requested by a physician. These scans will help doctors in diagnosing medical conditions such as diseases, cancers and abnormalities.

Requirements/Preferred Experience:

• COVID vaccinations strongly encouraged.
• Min. 1 year CT experience; Nuclear experience a PLUS
• Previous/Current travel experience strongly encouraged
• Cerner EMR Required
• Contrast injection experience a PLUS
• Canon/Toshiba scanner experience
• Mckesson PACS experience encouraged

• Responsible for performing a variety of CT procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed CT techniques for diagnosis.
• Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to obtain intravenous access.
• Ability to prioritize and organize daily work flow.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.

• ARRT
• BLS (AHA)

• Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd Weekend/holiday rotation if scheduled
• On Call Requirements: None
