The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Specialist provides care and service to a specific group of adult and geriatric patients consistent with standards of practice. The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Specialist demonstrates advanced cardiovascular knowledge and the skills necessary to manage situations and problems inherent to invasive cardiac studies and procedures performed within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. As a member of the Cardiac Cath Lab Team, provides quality patient focused care and service within a dynamic, complex technical environment. How You Will Fulfill Your Potential * * Responsibilities * The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Specialist provides care and service to a specific group of adult and geriatric patients consistent with standards of practice. * The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Specialist demonstrates advanced cardiovascular knowledge and the skills necessary to manage situations and problems inherent to invasive cardiac studies and procedures performed within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. * As a member of the Cardiac Cath Lab Team, provides quality patient focused care and service within a dynamic, complex technical environment. Qualifications/Experience * * Education/Accredited Programs · Successful completion of an accredited Radiology Tech Program · One-year of radiology experience required Experience/Abilities · Cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred · Specialty certification preferred Knowledge of standard health care reporting measures required * Skills/Abilities* · Demonstrates a high level of clinical and professional accountability. · Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. · Ability to adapt readily to a rapidly changing, highly technical, complex computerized environment. · Skill in successful conflict resolution. · Ability to work effectively during stressful situations. · Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a patient population of diverse educational, cultural, spiritual, and socioeconomic backgrounds. · Computer literacy. Salary Range The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $29.63 to $54.02 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
