Raytheon UK are hiring Production Associates on a 12 month FTC, you will work within an electronics manufacturing facility at our Glenrothes site, with travel to our Livingston site when needed.
This role will be working Day Shift - totalling 37 hours per week across Mon - Fri (specific hours will be confirmed with your recruiter and at interview).
We are offering full training to ensure you can be successful within the role, your first few weeks will be part of a training programme to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills.
Main Duties:
To perform production related tasks required in daily operations within one of the manufacturing business areas.
Tasks may include:
soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
mechanical and wiring assembly
kit preparation
bonding and coating.
testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipment
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
Previous experience in a similar environment / role
Good manual dexterity
Basic PC skills
Quality focused, a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Required to pass basic eye test (including colour blindness)
Desirable:
Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
Good communication skills
Organisational skills
