POSITION: PT Facility Maintenance Technician - Electrical
REPORTS TO: Chief Engineer
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent opening for a Part Time Facility Maintenance Technician. The Part Time Facility Maintenance Technician will work across several disciplines providing electrical support and troubleshooting during stadium events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform standard voltage electrical work on light fixtures, receptacles, and electrical equipment.
Complete scheduled, preventive, and reactive maintenance items utilizing CMMS software.
Assist Building Engineers with large projects and troubleshooting.
Maintain and update supplies inventory.
Provide event set up and coverage support.
Respond in a professional, polite, and helpful manner when dealing with patrons and tenants within the facility.
Uphold all building specific and OSHA safety standard.
Qualifications

Experience in all phases of electrical work, including 480 volt 3 phase 208 volt single phase 277 lighting power and 120 volt house hold current
A complete working knowledge of all electrical tools, testers, meters, and gauging devices. VOM’s amp meters, load devices, circuit testers, toners, etc.
Knowledge of safety equipment, lock out – tag out devices and all other means to protect himself and others
Thorough understanding of all electrical work related to fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, heating and air conditioning equipment, building automated systems, DDC &VFD drives, escalators and elevators.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines and function under stress.
Possesses computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with electronic preventive maintenance programs preferred.
Ability to climb stairs, lift 40 lbs. unaided and perform work at high heights.
Must be familiar with OSHA requirements.
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Skills and Abilities
Completion of twelfth grade with specialized training in electrical installation and/or maintenance. Trade School or apprentice program.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Well-organized, hard worker, team player.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain good working relations with other staff and building tenants.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, the individual should have some computer skills.
