Insight Global Business Analyst in Glen Allen, Virginia
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Business Analyst to support one of our insurance clients. The ideal candidate would sit in Richmond, VA but there is flexibility to travel monthly for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be able to reconcile insurance concepts and data across multiple systems and be technical enough to build SQL scripts to extract useable data. This candidate will possess great communication, integrated thinking skills, autonomous, collaborative and be an innovator/ problem-solver. The hourly pay rate for this position is $40-60/hr and based on experience.

Skills and Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in an analytics role
o Ability to structure own analysis starting with a problem statement
o Ability to translate business requirements to data requirements
* Ability to convert analysis to data-drive solutions
* Proficient in SQL -- comfortable working with structured data and experience with data profiling / discovery
* Experience working in an agile environment
* Previous experience working for an insurance company (property and casualty) * AIDA, CPCU, or other designations or exams from the Institutes
* Guidewire experience / expertise
* Experience with Azure null
