Your responsibilities

• Provide installation, maintenance, and general support of hardware and software

• Responsibility for supporting end users with advanced questions or problems by identifying, researching and resolving technical problems

• Support a variety of IT processes and manufacturing applications that are critical to day-to-day business operations

• Manage incidents and requests in coordination with global IT service desk, utilising ITIL foundational principles

• Manage maintenance contracts and providers of outsourced services, deploy equipment, and recommend, plan, and oversee periodic equipment refresh

• Develop training material to support process changes and new technology introductions

• Provide monthly management reporting on the status of all projects

• Support multiple sites virtually and by visiting the office; the implementation of technical solutions as an example, will require visiting remote locations

Who we are looking for

• A related Bachelors degree

• Experience in an IT role or related discipline

• Experience with maintenance and repair of computer hardware

• Experience in a support or service role, actively interacting with customers on a regular basis

• Someone with the ability to travel to remote locations to assist in the implementation of technical solutions, as required

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, or similar, is preferred

• While based in our Glasgow facility, the individual with the ability to travel to other sites on occasions, is essential

Ideally, you will also have

• IT Service Management ticketing tool such as ServiceNow,

• ITIL foundation

• Microsoft Certified Professional

• Micosoft Certified Solutions Expert

• CompTIA A+
