About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Lead Accountant to join our UK Investment Accounting Team responsible for providing high-quality financial services to a diverse portfolio of clients. In this critical role, you will utilize advanced accounting principles to create, review, and organize complex financial statements and management reports.
Our Investment, Accounting, and Reporting Solutions division operates globally, with offices in the UK, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Germany, and Poland. As a Senior Accountant, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver exceptional services that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring timely delivery of all reporting for your allocated client portfolio.
Prepare customized monthly and quarterly management reports tailored to client specifications.
Develop annual and interim standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS and FRS 102 for UK and Channel Island Limited
Partnerships, Unit Trusts, Limited Companies, and Limited Liability Partnerships focused on property investment.
Identify and recommend potential process improvements, collaborating with the Director to implement enhancements.
Support the team through financial analysis and provide tailored financial reporting based on client needs.
Prepare investor reports, VAT returns, and CIS returns.
Conduct due diligence and NAV calculations related to the acquisition and disposal of entities.
Qualifications:
Working towards accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, or CIMA) is preferred, but not essential.
Experience in preparing financial statements and accounting for transactions in accordance with IFRS and FRS 102.
Ability to analyze potential solutions using technical expertise and sound judgment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Excellent organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
