Summer Haul Truck Operator – Gillette, WY
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Our client, a leader in the mining industry, is looking for Summer Haul Truck Operators to join their team. This is a great opportunity for college students to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Please note: You must be enrolled in college for the upcoming fall semester to qualify for this position. This is a firm requirement.
Job Responsibilities:
Safely operate a large haul truck in a mining or construction environment
Load and unload materials such as aggregates and mining products
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
Follow all safety rules and regulations
Communicate and coordinate with supervisors and team members
Requirements:
Must be at least one year out of high school
Must be enrolled in college for the upcoming fall semester
Must wear steel toe boots (minimum 6 inches and lace-up style)
Good communication skills and a strong commitment to safety
