Equipment Mechanic
A global engineering and plant construction company that specializes in providing innovative solutions for the metal industry is looking for equipment mechanics. This company focuses on the production of steel, aluminum, and other metals, offering cutting-edge technologies and services tailored to the needs of their clients. Equipment mechanics will complete preventative maintenance on production machines.
Job description:
Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial machinery following engineering specifications, diagrams, and manuals.
Dismantles, moves, and installs equipment using tools and machinery such as hoists, cranes, and dollies.
Aligns machines, conducts inspections, and resolves mechanical issues using precision instruments.
Sets up and operates fabrication machinery to repair or create parts while ensuring minimized downtime with effective maintenance techniques.
Skills Desired
3+ years of equipment mechanic experience
Mechanical/electrical assembly
Mechanical Troubleshooting
Understanding of blueprints/schematics
Machine operating or fabricating
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
