Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Georgetown, Kentucky. This role will primarily involve data entry, accounts receivable, and extensive use of MS Excel. This position offers a contract-to-hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Process data entry tasks efficiently and accurately
• Handle accounts receivable duties across multiple locations
• Utilize MS Excel on a daily basis for various tasks
• Undergo training to understand and perform job responsibilities effectively
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions for delinquent payments
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate customer credit records
• Resolve customer credit inquiries efficiently
• Collaborate with team members and other departments as necessary. Requirements • The role requires proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations.
• Knowledge of MS Excel is essential for maintaining and analyzing financial data.
• Data entry skills are important for updating and maintaining financial records.
• The candidate should have the ability to assist in the processing of received payments and applying them to the appropriate accounts.
• Troubleshooting skills are necessary for resolving any issues or discrepancies in financial reports.
• The candidate should have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously is essential.
• Strong organizational skills are required for maintaining accounting files and records.
• The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information is paramount.
• The candidate should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• The candidate must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices is an advantage.
• Familiarity with financial software systems is a plus.
