The Senior Consolidation analyst is an experienced professional who will deal with sensitive and complex topics, you will address technical accounting questions raised by local affiliates or other global departments related to the cash flow statement.
Review, challenge and validate impact in the cash flow statement as reported by affiliates
Prepare and present monthly cash flow statement analysis to Group Controlling and Treasury
Prepare cash flow statements analysis which will be included in presentation provided to Group CFO and Audit Committee
Follow-up of cash flow statement entries managed at consolidation level
Perform internal controls integrated to the consolidation process like those required by the Sarbanes Oxley US regulation
Main responsibilities:
Monitor the reporting/consolidation process in this geography, anticipate and communicate changes in reporting requirements and conduct training sessions
Review and analyze the financial data reported by the entities in the zone
Implement the appropriate accounting and reporting for one off transactions/technical transactions (including changes in scope such as business combinations/assets deals/alliances, mergers/liquidations, divestments)
Contribute to the integration project of new entities in case of acquisitions (such as Qunol, Provention Bio, Amunix in the last few years)
Support actively the Account to Report team
Participate actively in the Accounts Committees process on his/her scope (preparation, presentation, challenging affiliates and independently following-up of open points or issues)
About you
Business School or University Degree in Accounting or Finance
Experiences and specific knowledge- 4/5 years relevant experience in Accounting or Finance
Language: English, French would be a plus
Organized and methodical
Ability to prioritize and organize his/her own work to meet strict deadlines
Proactive and pragmatic
Strong interpersonal skills to participate and contribute in a team environment & be exposed to senior management
