Gaylord is located in south central Minnesota about an hour west of the Twin Cities and 35 minutes from Mankato, Hutchinson, and New Ulm. As the County Seat, Gaylord is the "Hub of Sibley County." Our location produces liquid egg, hardcook egg, and precooked egg such as scrambled, patties and omelets. Responsibilities SCHEDULE: 9:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday POSITION SUMMARY: The inventory analyst position is responsible for ensuring that all inventories received and processed are accounted for and used properly. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position always has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Responsible for all data-entry associated with inventory, including raw products for processing (shell egg and liquid egg tankers); rework products, returned products, quality status changed, and any other corrections or adjustments. Perform and record daily, weekly, and monthly liquid inventory sheets to verify usage; cycle counts to verify all product, packaging, and ingredients are accounted for. Partial and final confirmation of semi-finished and finished process orders. Compare inventory to scheduled shipments and performs cycle counts to find any discrepancies. Continuously track status of tanker scheduled deliveries and report to production/scheduling/planning. Keep contact with customers and vendors to verify shipments and ensure satisfaction. Assist with transportation problems and coordinate shipments. Set up returns for damaged, aged or unshipped products. Responsible for training and aiding other inventory control analysts. Update all paperwork from transfers and returns. Develop ad hoc reports for use in inventory tracking/production processing. Assist Process Manager with all reporting requirements as needed; production scheduling; sequencing/creating/deleting process orders; . Assist with physical inventories. Perform SAP duties which require the creating and closing of all production orders on the floor. Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience in SAP. One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Previous inventory experience is preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers/vendors or employees of the organization in English Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form. Ability to operate specific equipment or tools in the department. Skill in working with computers and experience with spreadsheet and word-processing software. Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus. The pay range for this position is $44,817 - $60,951 per year.
