TandB Tube is looking for a wide range of skilled job candidates to be part of our team in the Miller area of Gary, IN. We offer on the job training and promote heavily within our company. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, manufacturing, and people who want to work in the steel tube mill industry.Pay range for Entry Level positions is $16.00-$17.50 per hour, depending on experience. All 2nd and 3rd shift employees receive an additional $1.50 differential per hour worked. We offer full time positions, and our schedule is 4 x 10's Monday - Thursday. Possible overtime shifts on Friday and Saturday in 8-hour shifts.
We are also looking for experienced machine operators; Mill Operators, Cut-Off Operators and Saw Operators.Operators pay is based on experience and skill set, $19.00 - $29.00.
As a team member of TandB Tube Company, you will be required to wear prescribed safety equipment and keep work area free of debris at all times. Also, in the entry level position, you will be inspecting and packaging the tubes, inspecting banding equipment and preparing packaging skids, carts and banding supplies. You will also be trained and certified in driving a Forklift and operating Overhead Cranes, which are used to move tubing throughout our plant.
