LifePoint Health Director-Cardiopulmonary/Neurodiag in Gallatin, Tennessee
Directs the activities and resources for Respiratory, Polysomnography, Cardiographics and Cardio Rehab departments to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
Reports to: Assistant Administrator
Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Drag Edit Delete
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives. Drag Edit Delete
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Drag Edit Delete
Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits. Drag Edit Delete
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Drag Edit Delete

Performs direct patient care duties within scope of licensure, if necessary
Minimum Education Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy - Required Drag Edit Delete
Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy - Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration/Management or related field - Required, if Respiratory Therapy degree is Associate's level Candidates holding a Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy are considered with agreement to complete Bachelors degree within agreed upon time-frame. Required Skills Licenses: State of Tennessee Registered Respiratory Therapist license with ABG endorsement - Required State of Tennessee Certified Respiratory Therapist license with ABG endorsement - Considered with agreement to obtain Registered Respiratory Therapist license within 1 year of start date in position Drag Edit Delete
Minimum Work Experience Minimum 5 years clinical experience as Respiratory Therapist - Required Minimum 2 years Management/Leadership experience - Required
