Job Description:
The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships (SFA) is actively seeking a detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Student Financial Aid Coordinator II of State Programs. In this role, you'll manage the state scholarship and grant programs. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities Include:
State Scholarship and Grant Program Coordination
Implement, direct, and maintain processes for Florida state programs.
Coordinate, award, and disburse state scholarship and grant programs.
Serve as the primary contact for the university with the Florida Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA).
Interpret, formulate, implement, and communicate relevant policies and procedures.
Handle all aspects of reporting and reconciling for state programs.
Additional Responsibilities
Assists with administering other aid programs as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Occasional travel for financial aid presentations and professional development workshops.
This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies.
Expected Salary:
$45,000 annually

Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in student financial aid administration.
Strong understanding of the regulatory framework governing financial aid programs.
Possess exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, emphasizing attention to detail.
