Job Description:
Finance & Budget/Contract Administration—Duties will include, but not be limited to:
Oversite of $38 million NIH grant and implementation of various tracking mechanisms to facilitate detailed, line-item cost analysis
Management of multiple subcontracts and internal projects for CAPTIVA collaborators and Co-Investigators (for example, the National Coordinating Center and Imaging Management Center at UC, National Risk Factor and Data Management Center at MUSC, and the Medical Monitor at SUNY)
Oversite of the efforts of UF Finance and Grants Accounting to ensure timely payment to these sites for the effort of these collaborators and the review and processing of invoices
Serve as the administrative liaison between UF and the CAPTIVA collaborators for budgetary and contractual arrangements between these entities
Assist PI in preparing all required NIH reports related to CAPTIVA (e.g., annual Progress Reports, Administrative Continuation Reports, Carryover requests, etc.)
Regulatory Administration–Duties will include, but not be limited to:
Develop and revise as needed study documents including, but not limited to, protocol revisions, informed consent updates, summaries of changes, manual of procedures, and study materials and tools
Prepare and submit study documents to the appropriate committees (IRB, DSMB, etc.)
Retain records/archive documents during and after project close-out, including oversight of protocol versioning
Meeting Planning/Facilitation-Duties will include but not be limited to:
Assist in the development and distribution of content for weekly, annual, monthly, and ad hoc meetings
Schedule meetings and send calendar invites
Moderate study site questions and monitor chat during meetings
Assist in planning and execution of annual investigator and coordinator training meetings
Participate in the Operations Committee, Steering Committees, and ad hoc conference calls, and record and distribute detailed meeting minutes
Study Site Communication Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Create & compile content for monthly newsletter & enrollment report
Maintain a distribution list of all CAPTIVA sites and personnel
Maintain and update UF CAPTIVA website
Prepare and facilitate study-wide communication of key information including, but not limited to, protocol amendments, updates, newsletters, and enrollments
Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, promotional materials, and publications
Other duties as assigned
Expected Salary:
$52,431 - $60,000
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in grant and contract administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification through ACRP, SOCRA, or similar clinical research organization
Knowledgeable in accounting principles and cost accounting standards
Knowledge of departmental, college, university, and agency policies and procedures applicable to contracts and grants
Knowledge of the rules and regulations pertaining to institutional review boards
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Proficient in Adobe Pro
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
