Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs duties involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards. Regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops, and organizes films. Assists with staffing schedules ensuring that capable and qualified personnel are available. Provides oversight for equipment quality control programs.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program.

• One year experience as a Radiographer in an acute care setting. Prefer leadership/supervisory experience.

• ARRT (R) Registered

• Licensed as a Radiology Technologist in the State of Florida.
