Job Description:
Grant Implementation Support
Assist the Principle Investigator and Project manager to implement the grant tasks
Manage and facilitate the grant deliverables
Assist in implementation of tasks, organize materials, and prepare reports
Establish and maintain professional network with grant stakeholders
Photograph safety resource and update website
Training Program Support:
Assist Training Program Manager with implementing the online and in-person training
Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, webinar, virtual training, on-the-job coaching
Maintain client records, create and follow up on proposals, schedule training programs
Handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment
Provide feedback to program participants and management
Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology
Customer service through phone, email, and website.
Other Duties:
Performs other related duties as required.
Occasional travel during nights and weekends is required.
Incumbent is to work independent with minimal supervision.
Position will be primarily responsible to the Training Specialist III for day to day operations of the auxiliary program, grant coordination and reporting requirements, and communications for operational aspects of the Florida Transportation Technology Transfer (T2) Center.
Minimum of 40 hours per week or as needed to meet grant and project requirements. Must be willing to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends in order to complete the project by established deadlines. Some travel is required.
This position will be in contact with the public and UF faculty and staff on a regular basis. This is a highly visible, customer satisfaction driven position and candidate must perform in a professional manner at all times.
Develops and negotiates training budgets. Consequences of errors results in customer dissatisfaction resulting in a decrease of available funds needed to soundly conduct center business.
Expected Salary:
$15.00-$18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
Proficient in Excel spreadsheets a must

Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone and in writing
Must be successful working independently and as part of a team. Must be proactive and take initiative with limited supervision.
Experience supporting, scheduling, and promoting training related activities.
Experience developing and analyzing project budgets and schedules.
Experience with online meeting software such as Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.
