Exigent Services LLC Information System Security Engineer II in Ft. Meade, Maryland
Join Exigent Services as Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) II and be part of a dynamic team that supports the U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) Directorates in Fort Meade, MD with subject- matter expertise in the areas of joint cyberspace operations planning, policy, strategy, and doctrine development, wargames and exercises, operations research, international and integration support, and cyber intelligence operations.
The Information System Security Engineer II will:
Solve complex challenges and shape cyber security best practices by leading risk management tasks.
Design and develop information systems and evolve them with advanced technology solutions.
Share your expertise through leadership and mentoring, while broadening your skillet into areas like defensive cyber security.
Grow your skills by merging knowledge of offensive cyber security to create a solid understanding of building better system defensive.
The ISSE will have:
- Amazon Web Service (AWS) or Cloud Service Provider Certification.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, upon application.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or Cybersecurity.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification.
- 6+ years of experience leading and implementing the Assessment and Authorization process under Risk Management Framework for new and existing information systems Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- 3+ years of experience reviewing assessment reports and assisting projects in identifying security risks, including technical and non-technical, and developing effective mitigation strategies, including Plan of Action and Milestones.
- Ability to ensure all products and administrative documentation is completed and maintained, including for continuity and historical reference.
- Ability to design, develop, and implement network security measures that provide confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
- Knowledge of supporting the development or modification of System Security Plans, security. requirements, and supporting documentation for the Assessment and Authorization process.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with identifying information protection needs for an IS and Network environment.
- Knowledge of integrating and implementing security with Cross Domain Solutions for use within an IS and Network environment.
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail.
