ASM Global Payroll Administrator in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Across our portfolio of live event venues and corporate offices, we are We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Processor at the Broward County Convention Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for and coordinate payroll for all employees in compliance with state and federal wage and hour requirements and ASM Global policy. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processes venue bi-weekly payroll for all employees while ensuring accuracy of data.

  • Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.

  • Calculate and process payroll deductions, adjustments, and bonuses.

  • Review payroll reports for accuracy and completeness

  • Calculates and processes vacation and sick pay requests.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records and files.

  • Calculate Union Dues and withholdings.

  • Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and issues.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related issues.

  • Follow payroll approval process in accordance with Company guidelines,

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.

  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in ADP payroll processing.

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred but not required.

    Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent data entry, basic accounting, and journal entry skills.

  • Understanding of payroll taxes, laws, regulations, and requirements.

  • Ability to function both independently and as a team member.

  • Ability to meet specific deadlines and successfully work under pressure, with close attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • Proficiency in Spanish or Creole languages is highly valued.

    Computer Skills

  • Excel experience In formulas and VLOOKUP’s, required.

  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications.

  • Knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • HRIS experience including ADP, Workday and ABI preferred.
