In this exciting role as an Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will conceptualize, plan and execute key projects in post market PMO portfolio for Twin Cities Campus GO&SC Sites’ to include Brooklyn Park, Plymouth Annapolis, Plymouth Cheshire and Rice Creek Pharma Operations. You will engage with cross-functional partners to tackle the most critical challenges affecting safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.

This position will work onsite at one of these four manufacturing plant locations across the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Working in a multi-site team, provides exciting challenges and opportunities to learn about a wide variety of our products and therapies across many Operating Unit portfolios. The Twin Cities Campus Operations seeks candidates who will meet our customer’s expectations by striving without reserve for the greatest possible reliability and quality in our products, processes, and systems by being accountable, having a voice, and taking action.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

· Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.

· Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.

· Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.

· Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.

· May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.

· Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

· Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.

· Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

· Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

· Leads manufacturing engineering project plans by utilizing project management skillsets that include creating timelines, managing budgets and understanding resource allocations.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineer degree or bachelor’s degree in technical discipline (science or math fields) required.

  • 4 years relevant experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry. Or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

  • Experience handling multiple tasks concurrently

  • Experience managing project timelines, budgets and resource allocations.

  • Good communication skills (both written and interpersonal). Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment to achieve results

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing and/or combination products.

  • Excellent data analysis skills, and proficient in the use of statistical tools in problem solving

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
