Okta Systems Administrator
100% Remote
Contract role: 3 - 6 months
Robert Half is looking for a Remote Okta Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the smooth operation of the Okta platform, each accommodating at least 700 employees. This role involves maintaining the recently implemented two-step authentication system, deploying applications through Okta, setting up workflows, and gradually rolling out new apps. Collaboration with educators, who may require additional support in learning new technologies, is a key aspect of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain two-step authentication for all 700+ users across 50 settings.
Deploy applications through Okta and set up workflows to streamline processes.
Collaborate with educators to ensure they understand and effectively utilize the Okta platform.
Roll out new applications gradually, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption to operations.
Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for Okta-related issues.
Stay updated on Okta best practices and certifications, with a focus on continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Requirements
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably managing a large user base.
Proficiency in SAME 2.0 and SCIM protocols.
Experience deploying apps through Okta and setting up workflows.
Okta certifications are a significant advantage.
Ability to adapt to changes quickly and be nimble in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with educators.
Educational experience or familiarity with educational settings is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take feedback constructively.
