Senior Production Supervisor

The Senior Production Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of daily operations to ensure the safe and efficient production of final products to agreed volumes and specifications, while ensuring conformity with SOP’s, SHE requirements, and Quality standards. Supervises employees to maximize the Department’s efficiency, effectiveness and teamwork, and quality of service.

Responsibilities:
Provides supervision and feedback to process operators to ensure consistent and sustainable process performance.
Works with Management, Coordinators and Operators to assure safe and timely process start-ups and shutdowns.
Participates in Self-Inspections, Risk Analyses, FMEA and RCA as needed. Participates in HAZOP/Pre-Startup review teams/MOC’s/SOP reviews as required. Reviews results of Hazard review and compliance audits and other information developed under PSM standards.
Monitors operating status of units (rates, quality, yields, solvents) and follows up on any deviations. Draws in other resources as needed to help address problems.
Ensures team members are fully trained in all processes as needed
Responsible for periodic evaluation of operators performance and development of operators.

You Bring:
High School diploma or GED and a 2 year Process Technology degree or higher is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in in a production environment; g ood knowledge of production processes and specific requirements.
In depth operational understanding and experience (> 5yrs) with the process steps
Knowledge of site procedures (SOP’s, Safety, Quality, Environment)
Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate multiple resources
Ability to operate personal computers and Microsoft software.
