CVS Health Warehouse Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift in Fredericksburg, Virginia

Job Description

Pay rate between $18.00-$28.50 per hour depending on experience$1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 daysFull time, 2nd shift.Monday-Friday, 3PM-11PMThe Maintenance Mechanic will work with a team of multi-skilled Maintenance Mechanics colleagues to maintain equipment in a mid to large volume facility. You will maintain, repair and improve equipment and systems to meet production goals as well as quality expectations. The Maintenance Mechanic will have comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and maintenance experience. Along with knowledge in preventative maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, work request documentation, spare parts appropriation, inventory control, and possess excellent computer skills.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years or prior related work experience• Ability to use hand and powered tools to perform job function.• Must be able to obtain license to operate all types of powered equipment within 90 days.• Valid driver’s license.• Ability to walk, stand, pull, climb for an extended period of time.• Must be able to lift frequently 20-45 lbs., occasionally 45-75 lbs.• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed to include high volume periods.• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. • Ability to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision.• Proven ability to be a team player who is comfortable working in a team-based environment.• Ability to work with different levels of colleagues with focus on customer service. • Ability to act competently in emergencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Skill/Trade Degree or Certificate• Previous work experience in union setting
