Description
Skylos Sports Medicine, a BluePearl Veterinary Partner, is an Orthopedic, Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine specialty practice which focuses on client-centered veterinary care. We are currently recruiting for a Veterinary Assistant to join our surgery team!
Pay:
The vision for Skylos Sports Medicine was developed in 2015 by husband-and-wife Drs. Peter and Faith Lotsikas and is the realization of their united dream of providing personalized orthopedic and rehabilitation therapy for the canine companion. Our mission is to restore and maintain the basic canine freedom to feel good and run for the fun of it. A BluePearl Surgery
Assistant
will
be responsible for
some post-operative client communication and must be able to work independently while contributing to a larger team goal.
As a Surgery Veterinary
Assistant,
you will:
Assist with patient evaluation and examination
Obtain high quality digital orthopedic radiographs
Run routine lab work
Administer medications and treatments
Sterilize surgical instruments
Exercise patients
Clean kennels and ensure overall cleanliness of the hospital
Provide client education and communication
