Box Truck Driver - $18/hr.
Job Description
The purpose of this job is to perform general warehouse and delivery duties while ensuring the timely receipt and delivery of products.
Responsibilities
Locate and transfer products for sales orders generated daily, matching physical products with descriptions on sales orders.
Prepare products for shipping utilizing company standards.
Drive a company-provided vehicle between locations to deliver company-owned products while following all traffic regulations.
Load and unload vehicles, sometimes taking or removing items from rolling carts.
Move products to different locations within the facility or assist in packing carts to load.
Assist warehouse associates with other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Driving
Customer service
Understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
Loading and unloading
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (required)
6 months of warehouse experience (preferred)
1 year of delivery driving experience (preferred)
Basic understanding of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to understand warehouse locations and locate products
Attention to detail
Quickly identify errors and retain knowledge of how to correct them
Ability to thrive under deadline-based assignments
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to walk up to 2 miles during the workday
Ability to perform repetitive motions for long periods

Work Environment
The role involves both driving and warehouse duties. Hours are Monday and Thursday from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. If routes are completed early or there are no routes, you will work in the warehouse. Breaks include a 1/2 hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks. The dress code is casual with closed-toed shoes, avoiding offensive clothing, short shorts, or spaghetti straps.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frederick, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
