Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and implementing validated manufacturing systems and equipment improvements within an FDA/cGMP/OTC environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge technology and lead continuous improvement initiatives in a collaborative, cross-functional team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovative Design & Implementation: Lead the design, planning, and implementation of validated manufacturing systems and equipment improvements.

  • Process Optimization: Conduct routine equipment checks and initiate process improvement activities to enhance efficiency and compliance.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Quality and Validation teams to ensure all processes meet regulatory standards.

  • Continuous Improvement Leadership: Drive continuous improvement projects, utilizing problem-solving techniques such as 8D, Six Sigma, DOE, and SPC.

  • Lean Manufacturing: Apply lean manufacturing principles including visual management, 5S, and PDCA to streamline operations.

  • Equipment Expertise: Work with blending, filling, packaging, or automated equipment, and support equipment validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency using CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and troubleshoot/modify PLC programs.

  • Project Management: Attend cross-functional meetings, document progress, and manage projects effectively.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Leadership in Continuous Improvement: Proven experience leading and facilitating continuous improvement projects.

  • Communication Excellence: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT) and CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks).

  • Problem-Solving Expertise: Experience with problem-solving techniques (8D, Six Sigma, DOE, SPC).

  • Lean Manufacturing Experience: Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (Visual management, 5S, PDCA).

  • Regulatory Environment Experience: Experience in an OTC or FDA-controlled environment.

  • Hands-On Fabrication: Hands-on fabrication ability and PLC troubleshooting/program modification skills are highly desirable.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Process Engineering 5+ years of applicable experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83000.00 - $103000.00/yr.
