Field Service Technician - 100% Travel Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to install, commission, and maintain various machinery including fillers, shrink wrappers, and flash-pasteurizers. This role requires extensive travel within the United States and North America. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and will be responsible for training customers on the operation and maintenance of new equipment.
Responsibilities
Install and commission filler, shrink wrapper, and flash-pasteurizer machines.
Troubleshoot issues with PLCs.
Train customers on the operation and maintenance of new equipment.
Collaborate with customers and sales staff to ensure equipment is operational.
Travel extensively within the United States and North America to perform installations and repairs.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
Guaranteed your 40-hour week salary even if you are not assigned a job. 4 job levels for technicians as well as a variety of other career pathways Additional pay perks for extended work travel Per Diem (allowance for meals) per GSA standards – on average $15K per year. Travel expenses for work covered with company credit card. Also, you can earn travel points for your nextvacation. Annual Service bonus - up to one month of pay. We offer vacation and sick time, if you are unable to use it all within the year, no problem you will be paidout unused vacation up to 40 hours and all unused sick time. 10 paid holidays with no waiting period. If you work on a Saturday, you will receive overtime regardless of the number hours worked within theweek.
