Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of CNC machinery for producing components for the automotive industry. The role involves working with automatic transmissions for cars across the globe. The ability to read blueprints, use quality tools, and work within a team environment is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate various CNC machinery, including drilling and milling equipment.

  • Produce components for the automotive industry, specifically for automatic transmissions.

  • Read and interpret blueprints on a daily basis.

  • Utilize quality tools such as calipers and micrometers.

  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines.

  • 3+ years of experience reading blueprints.

  • 3+ years of experience using quality tools like calipers and micrometers.

  • Proficiency in CNC operation and setup.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with programming CNC machinery is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Haas (Milling and Turning), Star (Swiss Machines), and Hardinge (Fanuc control).

  • Experience with Prototrak and Esprit software.

Work Environment

The facility operates three shifts: 1st shift (6am-2pm), 2nd shift (2pm-10pm), and 3rd shift (10pm-6am).

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
