Description

You might be the Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk this dynamic organization with a growing team is looking for, if you can match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The job site for the permanent Accounts Payable Clerk is in the Franklin, Tennessee area.
What you get to do every single day
Implement full-cycle A/P
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Provide customer service to internal business partners
Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
Assist with internal and external audits as needed
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

Requirements - Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Knowledge of customer invoices
Experience with General Journal
Adeptness in account reconciliation
Deep understanding of Process Vendor Invoices
Journal entries experience preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
