Turbo Machined Products CNC Machine Operator 2nd Shift in Frankfort, New York

General: The individual in this classification will be required to operate and maintain the set up of the assigned operation. It shall also be the machine operator’s responsibility to inspect and control the quality of product at the specific operation being performed. At no time will an operator continue to manufacture product, when dimensions are not within the parameters of the drawing requirements. It will be the operator’s responsibility to contact his or her shift leader when assistance is required to maintain the set up or to make adjustments to offsets to bring tolerances back into print requirements.Additional tasks other than machining will be assigned from time to time as needed to meet Turbo Machined Products customer’s needs. Turbo Machined Products reserves the right to assign and coordinate working hours to meet on time deliveries, including shift changes when necessary.Equipment: The individual holding this position will be required to know or obtain the knowledge required to operate 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machining centers as well as manual machines as needed. The person holding this position will be required to use various hand tools and measuring equipment including but not limited to, micrometer, depth micrometer caliper, height stand, Indicator, dial indicator snap gages, max-T gages, radius etc.Qualifications: An individual demonstrating through the interviewing processes the knowledge of the use of the required equipment with a record of experience.An individual may also acquire this position through an on the job training program offered by Turbo Machined Products.Initial Employment: Upon being awarded a position with Turbo Machined Products a probationary period will be set to determine knowledge, ability and / or trainability.

Minimum Salary: 16.00 Maximum Salary: 23.00 Salary Unit: Hourly
